Event Tickets
Products
You are purchasing a license to attend one or more events as described on the ordering page. Event details may change without notice. Tickets are transferable to other Lambda Phi alumni with written notice to the Lambda Phi Corporation at help@lambdaphi.org. Prices are subject to change without notice, and no partial refunds will be issued based on price changes. Some events may have restrictions on purchasing which are noted on the event descriptions. You are responsible for ensuring that your purchase fits these requirements; even if the purchase is accepted by the web site, it may be later amended or rejected if the noted requirements are not met.
Ticket Delivery
No paper tickets will be issued. Your confirmation page serves as proof of your purchase. All attendees will be confirmed on-site by the Lambda Phi Corporation.
Refund Policy
Tickets may be refunded up to 60 days before the event, less a 50% handling charge. No refunds will be granted less than 60 days before the event. To request a refund, write to help@lambdaphi.org with your name, order number, and details of which ticket(s) you would like refunded. All refunds will be issued as credit card credits if the original purchase was via credit card, or a check if the original payment method was cash or check. The Lambda Phi Corporation reserves the right to delay refunds to ensure that the original payment was legitimate. Refunds are not complete until email confirmation is received from the Lambda Phi Corporation.
Event Rescheduling/Cancellation Policy
If an event is canceled by the Lambda Phi Corporation, full refunds will be provided, though the Lambda Phi Corporation reserves the right to delay refunds to ensure that the original payment was legitimate. If an event's details substantially change, the Lambda Phi Corporation may, at its sole option, issue partial refunds. If an event is rescheduled, the Lambda Phi Corporation will determine the terms of a partial refund and provide instructions for choosing between a partial refund and attending the rescheduled event.
Warranty
No warranty of any kind is expressly or implicity granted by the Lambda Phi Corporation as a result of this or any other transaction.
Liability
You agree that the Lambda Phi Corporation's liability for any disputes or errors relating to this transaction and your attendance at the Lambda Phi Corporation events is limited to the amount paid to the Lambda Phi Coporation. For the purposes of any dispute resolution concerning this transaction or your attendance at Lambda Phi Corporation events, you agree that this transaction takes place in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
Donations
All donations submitted via this web site are unrestricted donations to the Lambda Phi Corporation. These donations are not tax-deductible, as the Corporation is a 501(c)7 non-profit corporation. Donations are not refundable. You agree that the Lambda Phi Corporation's liability is limited to processing errors only, up to a maximum of the total amount donated.
This web site may allow you to request a recurring donation. These donations will be made automatically at the frequency specified. We may or may not be able to approve requests to control the exact timing of these transactions. Requests to cancel or change the amount of recurring donations should be made via email. Please note that these changes may take up to one billing cycle to complete, and you are responsible for any amounts charged during this time, unless the requested change corrects our error. We may cease offering recurring donations at any time, without notice. Recurring donations are also subject to the terms above for donations.
